Egon swept throught the room, moving his paranormal detecto over everything. He wandered through the rooms, waiting patiently until he saw something. Then he came to a door. It's door knob was covered in ectoplasm. He took out a beaker and a small wooden stick, and put some in it. He took out a rag and covered his hand, and opened the door. It was a study. Painting were cast aside and broken everywhere. The walls were covered in slime. He saw the ghost flinging books off the bookcase. He turned on his pack and aimed his gun at the ghost, trying to get a good shot of him.

Jeice burst into the room, leveling his blaster at the ghost. " This one's mine Spengler!" He switched on the beam and grinned maliciously as the ghost shrieked, being enveloped by the beam. " Time to die.....again!"

Egon turned around to see Jeice fire his blaster at the ghost. Egon knew he couldn't let him get this ghost. He picked up one of the books that flew by him and threw it at the blaster, missing it. He picked up another one, and this time it hit the blaster, aiming it at the wall.

Jeice turned to Spengler as the ghost got loose and flew through the wall screaming. " What is your problem Spengler?!", he yelled, throwing his cigarette at the man. " You ever do that again, and I'm turning the beam on you!"

He dodged the cigarette, as it flew towards him. It landed on an open book behind him. "NotbeforeIdo." he muttered angrily. He ran out back into the hallway to look for signs of the ghost. When he couldn't find any, he used his detetector again, slowly going down the hallway until he reached a flight of stairs. He looked up the spiral staircase. It was full of cobwebs and was lit by candles, but he got a strong reading. He slowly went up the stairs, each creaking louder and louder as he went higher.

Jeice picked up his cigarette and followed after Spengler, he would get this ghost first and vaporize it. His arm was in excruciating pain, but he kept going. Following Spengler and setting his blaster to a higher setting.

Egon squinted his eyes in frustration as he looked behind him and say Jeice was trailing him. He got up to the top of the steps. The sun had went down outside. The floor was covered in cob webs, and instead of lights there were unlit candles. He went along the hallway, lighting each one with his lighter, trying to get a better look. As he went to lite a candle, the flame caught a cob web above him. "Sh*t, sh*t." he said as he batted out the flaming cob web. He decided this was the time to lose Jeice. He ran through one of the doors and into a cupboard. As Jiece ran in, thinking a ghost was in there. He ran back out and barricaded the door behind him.

((((hey bud, remmeber, no Godmoding,  ))) Jeice kicked the door down, he still had his strength, even if one of his arms was out of commision. " Spengler!!!" He hurried down the hall, putting out his cigarette. this was getting old, he was gonna finish this job, and then teach Spengler a lesson or two once his arm healed. |

((I know, but I didn't really want to waste too many posts as I'll be leaving in a sec. Sorry bout that.))
Spengler ran down the hallway and into a room, which he shut behind him. He stayed real quiet, hoping Jiece wouldn't hear him. Even if he was going the wrong direction, it wouldn't do him any good finding the ghost with Jiece there.

Laura was walking around muttering into her recorder. Spengler and Jeice had been fooling around while she was researching. She pulled out what looked like Han Solo's lazer gun and pluged it in to a little box on her belt. She turned it on, and it made a low humming sound. She put on the goggles that were stretched on the top of her head, and began following the sounds of destruction.

Jeice rounded the corner of the hall, swearing to himself, trying to light a cigarette and hold his blaster at the same time. He saw Laura scanning the hallway, and.........d*** it! The ghost was sneaking up on her, holding a vase in it's hands. Well, he wasn't exactly chivalrous, but she was in his line of fire, and he didn't want murder slapped on his rap sheet as weel. He leveled his blaster at the ghost, taking careful aim. " O'Connel............get down."

When Jeice spoke she quickly turned around to see the ghost looking maliciously down on her with a huge vase in its clutches. She quickly slumped down to her knees.

Jeice opened up on the ghost with his beam. The ghost shrieked as the beam enveloped it, shattering the vase. The gost continued to scream as particles began shooting off of it, small holes appearing in its structure as Jeice's beam began vaporizing it, bit by bit. " Yeah! How do you like me now boy?!?"

She stood up, shocked.
"What are you doing?!" she exclaimed. How was she supposed to analyze and research the spectre if it didn't exist?

" I'm doing my job!", Jeice snarled at her as the ghost deterialized more. He made a mental note to adjust his blaster to vaporize them faster. " My title is 'Spectral Eradicator', people call me because I get rid of the ghosts, permanently."
