Jeice pulled his motorcycle up to the entrance of the mansion and cut the throttle. He stepped off and lifted his sunglasses, glaring up at the mansion. It was old and antiquated, typical haunting, he thought. He threw his cigarette on the ground and looked around. Some classic cars, probably belonging to the family, no sign of the Ecto-1. Good, he thought, I might be able to get this job done without having those geeks interfere. He adjusted the straps on his modified proton accelerator, his didn't just restrain the spirits, his was modified to destroy them. He hoped the Dreyfuses had only hired him, he hated it when he ended up sharing the larger jobs with the Ghostbusters. Especially since the C.P.P.R had come around, work was getting harder to find. He went to the entrance, and knocked on the door.

The Ecto-1 skidded to a halt outside the huge, strangely placed mansion. Ray put it into park, and cheerfully stepped out to open the trunk.

Jeice rolled his eyes and turned around at the sound of a familiar engine pulling up and shutting off. There it was, Ecto-1. That goof Stanz was opening the trunk, he must not have noticed him, typical. Jeice walked up to the gar, growling at Ray, " What the hell are you doing here Stanz?!"

Ray was surprised to here the obviously edgy voice of Jeice... the Dreyfusses must have wanted this ghost out as soon as possible. "I'm here to extract a possible Class Five Apparition." he replied, "I assume that's why you're here as well?"

Jeice sneered at Ray, " Why else? You know, just once I'd like to not have to share a larger job with you clowns!"

"Then I suggest you move to another city," he replied, just as annoyed as Jeice was, "Chicago, maybe."

" Bite me Stantz," Jeice snarled, lighting up a cigarette. " You're just upset because I destroy your little ghosties instead of capture them."

"Can't study what's not there." he replied, ever the firm believer in research. If Egon was there, he may have gone further into the matter.

Jeice took a long drag and threw the cigarette on the ground as he heard the front door open. " Whatever Stantz, just stay out of my way."

He was distracted at the cigarette burning on the ground. He had just begun quitting, and his nicotine patch burned at the sight of the cigarette. His eye twitched. That was interupted by the door opening.

Mrs. Dreyfuss walked out, looking mildly harrassed. She was about 67 years old and had her greying blonde hair in a tight bun. In a polished English accent, she shakily said, "Oh, thank god you're here!" she hurried down the porch steps. "I don't know if I'd be able to stand another moment in there. The things circling about the ceiling..." she looked distraught. "Is the C.P.P.R. missing? I called all of you... this thing seems a little tricky... I hope you'll be able to take care of it."

Jeice put on his best fake smile, " Not to worry, I'll have this thing destroyed before bedtime. Just leave it to me."

"Oh brilliant." she replied, looking a bit more optimistic. "I do hope the others find their way here... I don't suppose they're lost?" She didn't wait for an answer. "Come in, I'll show you where it is."

Jeice followed her, he hoped the C.P.P.R. didn't show up, he didn't need anymore competition on this job. " Now what exactly is the phenomenon you're experiencing?"

"Well," she said nervously, "There's a ghost up on the third floor... It's spraying sticky stuff all over the place and shakes the walls. All of my paintings are falling down, and when they don't they're full of goo!"
